Slaughter’s BBQ is officially opening their doors Nov. 15th, 2023 in a newly renovated location in downtown Sulphur Springs, Tx. This highly anticipated grand opening comes after years of operating solely out of their food trailer. Slaughter’s BBQ has become well known in the area for their delicious brisket, ribs, catering and “treat you like family” customer service. Their delicious side dishes offer up just as much flavor for lovers of unique and classic comfort food.

David Slaughter originally started Slaughter’s BBQ ten years ago in his driveway. They eventually moved into a food trailer. Now their new brick and mortar location offers patrons a rustic and kitschy vibe with plenty of room to spare!

Owner, David Slaughter, says “I’m so excited to have a place with a roof over our head, cold AC and bathrooms.” Slaughter’s BBQ’s loyal and new customers will be thrilled to have a permanent location to dine at regularly and out of the Texas heat as well. For those looking for a crowd pleasing catering option, Slaughter’s BBQ offers the perfect catering option for big and small parties. Give them a call at (903) 558-1298 for more information.

Kat was born in Dallas, Tx but is an East Texan through and through. She graduated from Rains High School went on to earn her BFA in Design Communication in 2015 and has recently began working towards her Master’s in Business Marketing. She recently moved to the Miller Grove area to lay down roots with her fiancé, son, and their pack of animals. With 12 years working in the design and marketing industry, Kat has worn many hats. This has helped her to experience first-hand the importance of branding, marketing, and having a great website to a business’ success. Her true passion is helping startups and small businesses turn their dreams into a reality. This energy and vision encouraged Kat to start her own business, De La Grove Agency, a boutique creative agency that offers branding, web design and marketing services. When she’s not working, you’ll most likely find her doing home renovations, road tripping somewhere, hunting for vintage finds or binge watching a new show.
