Arturo’s Pizza on the square in Sulphur Springs is celebrating their one year anniversary today. Anybody who has had their delicious Brooklyn-style pizza knows we’re lucky to have such a great restaurant in the area. I first met Arthur and Tina Kunzman when they were first open at their outdoor location in the parking lot on Main Street.
Art and Tina moved to Hopkins County from Iowa in August 2014 for the high-quality schools and the business opportunities. They have 3 wonderful kids who are 4, 6, and 15. I couldn’t be happier for their family. The Kunzman’s are a model of hard-work and determination.
Already in the short year that Arturo’s has been open they have been voted the best pizza in Hopkins County. And they’ve grown from 31 to 72 seats!
Today they are celebrating with an open house from 2-4 p.m. There will be complimentary samples and refreshments. Arturo’s released the following on Facebook for their customers, “Our one year anniversary today also marks one year of awesome staff & customers…you all are the best & we are able to make this happen because of you. Thank you!!!”
