Blue Santa marks goals as fundraiser picks up

Hopkins County has been generous with their giving, as the Blue Santa crew mans the Wal-Mart parking lot for adults, kids, businesses and individuals that have been donating throughout November 30 and December 1. At noon on Wednesday, Blue Santa was one third of the way to their goal.
The crew are still open for donations and $5 brisket orders the remainder of Wednesday at Wal-Mart, and will be collecting toys for kids in need at Friday’s Lions Lighted Parade at 7 p.m., and blue barrels across the county remain open.
