The National Weather Service continues to predict chances of precipitation of around 50% in the coming midweek for Hopkins County. 

Tuesday has a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Skies are otherwise partly sunny, with a high near 89. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Tuesday night holds a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 a.m. Skies are mostly cloudy, with a low around 75.

Wednesday has a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 p.m. Skies are partly sunny, with a high near 88. Wednesday night has a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms, with partly cloudy skies and  a low around 75.

Thursday has a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Skies are partly sunny, with a high near 90. South winds are predicted at 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Thursday night also has a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m. Skies are partly cloudy, with a low around 76.
