A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for portions of North and Central Texas through 6pm this evening. The watch covers areas east of I-35, where additional rain totals of 2-4 inches are possible. Remember, if you encounter a flooded road, Turn Around Don’t Drown!

Showers. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 45. Northeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Tonight
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1am and 3am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Steady temperature around 45. Northeast wind 15 to 20 mph becoming south southeast 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
