Behind the front, decreasing temperatures and increasing winds will make for a rainy and cold day. There will be a potential for strong to marginally severe thunderstorms across Central and Southeast Texas this afternoon. The main threat will be strong to damaging winds. In addition, heavy rainfall across East Texas may increase the potential for minor flooding.
