Meal-a-Day Still Going Strong




Sulphur Springs Citizens Center Director Karon Weatherman reports that Meal-a-Day is still going strong and serving senior citizens.

Friday cooks prepared Cheese Burgers, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Potato Chips and Cake for the Meal A Day recipients on Friday. 
Meal-a-Day is a program made of volunteer cooks and delivery drivers that deliver meals to local seniors five days a week. The program is funded by donations and the $2 per meal cost.
