From the Reed family:

Nine year-old Jessica Reed from Sulphur Springs is doing her first community service project this month. She has decided to collect canned goods for Senior Citizens in Sulphur Springs who need assistance. Even in our small town, as many as 3,000 senior citizens – many of our town’s grandmas and grandpas – struggle to have enough to eat.

We dropped sacks at front doors in Stonebriar, Cedar Springs, and Stone Lake.

We will help Jessi collect all of the paper bags that are filled with canned goods and left on doorsteps this coming Saturday morning, October 27th!

If you live in SS but don’t live in the neighborhoods mentioned where we left sacks, and you would like to donate canned goods, please call 903-438-6754 and we will come by your house next Saturday morning to pick them up. Just leave your canned goods in a bag at your front door between 9AM and noon.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!

Sincerely, Jessi and family
