Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Man for Burglary of Habitation

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21 year old Chase Mitchell Hopper of Wills Point for Burglary of a Habitation on Monday morning.

Deputies received a call regarding a person breaking into a residence. Upon arrival, the homeowner stated the perpetrator was in the master bedroom of the house. Deputies located Hopper exiting the master bathroom with two large butcher knives in his right hand. Hopper was disarmed and arrested without incident.

Hooper was charged with Burglary of a Habitation and is currently held on $100,000 bond at Hopkins County Jail.
