Saputo’s January Difference Makers

Saputo’s January Difference Makers

Mike Evans:

There are certain individuals that become masters of their craft. Individuals who are at the heart of what makes a department tick. Individuals that others call on when they are in need. Mike Evans is one of those people.  His expertise on our UHT processors is impressive. There is not a system within our plant that equals its complexity and to master it as he has is no small feat.

Mike has been with the company 6 years. In that time, he has worked in several different roles. In recent years he has taken the responsibility of training our new hires on our UHT processing systems. His goal is to make sure they are comfortable with its operation and the functions of each subsystem before releasing them to their shift. This helps ensure they feel comfortable in their new role before being released. He also facilitates training for valve rebuilding. This has made a huge impact on the initial quality of rebuilds.

Thank you Mike, for you dedication to the team! ~ JP Tucker

Brandon Franklin:

Brandon Franklin has been with Saputo for four years.  As a filler operator, he quickly learned all the gable top fillers and is currently on the EH.  Brandon not only is a senior operator but a great trainer as well.  His team has been the top producing shift on the EH (half gallon) filler for the past 10 months.  He approaches each day with a “bring it on” attitude and doesn’t let adversity get in his way.  Brandon brings passion to his team and always wants to win.

Join me in congratulating Brandon for being Saputo’s Difference Maker for January. ~ Danny Strickhausen

Congratulations to all of you and thank you for everything you do for Saputo!  ~ Joe Wallace, Plant Manager of Saputo Sulphur Springs
