United Way Launches Their 2023 Campaign
United Way held their Workers Lunch on September 20th at the Sulphur Springs Dairy Museum. They welcomed many new volunteers to their organization with lunch from Plain and Fancy and tons of information! Susan Berning (executive secretary for United Way) announced this years’ campaign. Their slogan is “community together as one” and the goal is to raise $ 150,000 to donate to multiple nonprofit organizations in our town. KK McKenzie and Jessica McInnis then took the podium and thanked everyone who volunteered for their generosity and love for our community. Susan Berning closed out the meeting and had everyone come find their bags with different businesses for the volunteers to contact and ask for them to donate. Thank you United Way for all that you do for our community.
