Funeral service for Frances Ann “Annie” Stiff, age 78 of Sulphur Spring, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Valley Cemetery in Lone Oak, Texas with Jeff Carson, Tyler Follis, Michael Boyte, Zach Brown, Colby Mayfield, and Harold McClure serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Keller, Jody Stiff, Marshall Brown, Colton Owen and Carl Mayfield. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Stiff passed away on September 20, 2023 at Focused Care at Mt. Pleasant.

 

Frances was born on August 23, 1945 in Winnsboro, Texas to David Wade and Jennie Lorene (White) Stoker. She married Raymond Stiff on August 4, 1962 in Mesquite, Texas. Frances was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; son, Chris Stiff; daughters, Sherry Valentine, Brandy Stiff and Holly Stiff; grandchildren, Jeff Carson, Chandy Mayfield, Chelsey Brown, Ashton Owen, Tyler Follis, Michael Boyte, Taylor Delka, Jacob Stiff and Hannah McMahan; twenty great grandchildren.

 

Frances was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David Stoker, Wayne Stoker and Maurice Stoker.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
