Graveside service for James Brandon Clare, age 53, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery in Hopkins County. Visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the cemetery. Mr. Clare passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX.

 

James Brandon Clare was born on May 4, 1970 in Odessa, TX to John Frederick and Barbara Carol (Byrd) Clare. James worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for over 20 years. He earned his black belt in Taekwondo, was heavily involved in prison ministry, and did missionary work all over the world.

 

He is survived by his parents, John and Barbara Clare of Birthright, TX; stepson, George Webb of Lawton, OK; brothers, Sean Clare (April) of Winnsboro, TX, Cris Clare (Julie) of Sterling, CO; niece, Mickayla Clare of Sterling, CO; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

James is preceded in death by his grandparents.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
