Join Shining Star Productions this summer for Matilda the Musical, live at the SSISD Auditorium August 4-6th.
Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Matilda the Musical features all your favorite characters from the novel: from the magical Matilda Wormwood to the terrifying Agatha Trunchbull and the annoyingly comical Wormwood family, all the characters you know and love are present in this musical version of the classic story.
Revisit your childhood as you watch Matilda and her friends escape the dreaded Chokey, avoid the wrath of Trunchbull’s pig-tail throwing rage, and even enjoy a bit of chocolate cake as they navigate the dreary hallways of Crunchem Hall by being just a little bit “Naughty”.
So join our cast of “Revolting Children” as they share this classic tale of an intelligent and gifted child as she overcomes a difficult childhood, saves the school from a tyrant with a little bit of magic, and finally finds the miracle and the family she deserves.

Tickets are available for $12 presale or $15 at the door. Tickets required for all patrons age 2 & up.
Performances are Friday, August 4th at 7:00 pm, Saturday, August 5th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, August 6th at 2:00 pm. House opens 30 minutes before showtime each day.
