Yoga and Elm Creek Flower Farm 2023
  • PublishedJune 18, 2023

Saturday morning was a great time to visit Elm Creek flower farm and participate in their co-sponsored event, Yoga on the Flower Farm. One Soul Yoga instructor and owner Rachel Finney lead the class in gentle stretching outside to the sound so of nature starting its day. The seventeen-person class moved through stretches and awakened their bodies in a comfortable series of movements for all levels.

After class, participants made their way to the flower bar for a you pick event. Armed with their jars and scissors, class participants made their way around the flower farm to create a personalized bouquet of flowers, direct from the garden. The zinnias and sunflowers were beautiful, and everything attracted pollinators of all kinds.Amanda and Thomas have created a wonderful space for people to enjoy themselves and choose flowers for their home that are freshly cut and locally grown. We love to support unique experiences such as this in our area and hope todo more of them in the future.

The flower farm has multiple options available for you to purchase fresh cut flowers. From their flower barn, you can select a mixed bouquet of flowers or a single bunch, such as sunflowers. They also open their farm to the public on Saturday evenings, during the season, so that you can pick your own 24-ounce mason jar of fresh cut flowers just the way you want.We spoke with Amanda and Thomas about upcoming events and can hardly wait for the fall to experience their pumpkin season and hopefully a future farm to table dining experience, all in the flower fields. Until that time be sure to check out Elm Creek flowers for new events, mixed bouquets or your very own, you pick mason jar. There is plenty of fun to be had on the flower farm.Be sure to follow OneSoulYoga and Elm Creek Flower farm on Facebook or Instagram to keep up with their local events
