It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Sulphur Springs and we would like to invite everyone to partake in the holiday spirit with the annual Lions Club lighted Christmas parade!

The sixteenth annual Sulphur Springs Lions Club Lighted Christmas Parade presented by Carriage House Manor will be held on the evening of Friday, December 2nd at 7:00 PM. A stunning showcase of festively lit parade entries will bring Christmas cheer to the viewers of all ages.

The Lions Club will also be teaming up with Blue Santa again this year as a drop-off location for the Blue Santa Toy Drive. Simply bring your new, unwrapped toy to the parade and place it on the side of the road. Blue Santa will come by and collect your donation up as he rides down the parade route.

The parade route will begin at Buford Park and head east on Connally Street to the square. Then the parade will then head north on Church Street then west on Houston St ending at Gerald Prim Stadium.

The Lions Club would like to give a special thanks to the title sponsor, Carriage House Manor. Additional parade sponsors include Alliance Bank, Legacy Ag Credit, City National Bank, Farmers Electric Cooperative, Brian Toliver Ford, Farm County, Jay Hodge Chevrolet, Nortex Tractor and Power Sports, Clayton Homes, Guaranty Bank, Christus Trinity Mother Francis, Texas Farm Credit, Money Law and Title, and Clarion Pointe.

Entry forms for the lighted Christmas Parade can be picked up at the Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce. The deadline to enter the parade is Tuesday, November 29th.
