Winter Bash 2021/ Lackey family

The second annual Northeast Texas Winter Bash Ag Show will take place on December 3, 2022 at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center starting at 9:30 a.m.

  • Fees: New, unopened toy for showmanship (to be donated to Blue Santa), $25 for other entries
  • Categories: Heifer (by breed), steer (by division and weight), swine, lamb & goat (by weight)
  • Prizes: Buckles for grand, reserve, and showmanship champions (50 buckles available), custom handmade belts for grand (supreme) species champions decorative prizes for reserve supreme and grand champion in each animal
  • Proceeds: Benefit Hopkins youth

This junior livestock jackpot show is open to all youth who have not yet graduated. Categories PeeWee, Junior, Intermediate and Senior are welcome. 

“If they can walk, they can show,” said event organizer Cody Fails. “This is for the kids to show off their projects and have a good time.” 

Entry is not limited to Hopkins County residents. To enter, contact Cody Fails at 903-474-1184. Entry is also accepted on-site on the day of the show. No shavings allowed.
