A special meeting of the Sulphur Springs ISD school board was held on Monday, August 15, 2022.

 

PUBLIC FORUM

 

Michael Lamb gave an update on STAAR scores released from TEA. No one else requested to address the Board during the public forum.

ACTION ITEMS

Along with routine matters, the following were approved:

Renewal of TPS for Property/Casualty Insurance for 2022-2023.

Updated DMA(LOCAL) removing the existing exchange time policy.

Updated DEC(LOCAL) – changing the minimum number of days to qualify for extended leave from 5 day to 3 days and removing “the average daily rate of pay of a substitute for the employee’s position shall be deducted for each day of local leave taken, whether or not a substitute is employed.”
