Obituary for Sally (Hardesty) Buchanan

Private graveside service for Sally (Hardesty) Buchanan will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Buchanan passed away on August 10, 2022 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab.

Sally was born on July 1, 1944 in Tulsa, OK to William Wade and Frances (Beavers) Hardesty. She married Jimmy Buchanan on November 21, 1976 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Sally worked as a supervisor at H.D. Lee and a certified nurses aid at Advantage Home Health. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, taking care of her dogs as well as sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Luttrell and husband, Lynn, Annette Dennis and Sheri Cline; grandchildren, Kristi Ramsey, Kara Ballard, Brandi Davis and Adam Cline; ten great grandchildren; brother, Harold Hardesty.

Sally was preceded by her parents; husband, Jimmy; grandson, Jessie Wade Cline; brothers, Bert Hardesty and Jack Hardesty and sister, Helen Darst.

Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or any local animal organization.
