Sulphur Springs High School Choir individuals, ensembles to advance to state UIL

Sulphur Springs High School Choir attending UIL Solo & Ensemble contest on February 22, and 22 students and two ensembles qualified for state.

Four students took a non-state qualifying solo received a superior rating and were awarded a medal.

Texas State Solo & Ensemble will be held at UT-Austin Memorial Day Weekend.

“Despite weather-related school closings and rescheduling, these students continued to work diligently to learn challenging music,” director Beth Cole said. “I am beyond proud to be their teacher.”
