Sheriff’s Office investigating alleged North Hopkins locker room incident

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged incident of possible sexual misconduct that took place at the North Hopkins high school locker room.

HCSO declined to comment on details of the investigation, citing that their work is ongoing. Officials stated the allegations involved several male students. HCSO did not speculate if charges would be filed.

NHISD superintendent Brian Lowe stated, “there was an alleged sexual assault, and law enforcement is investigating allegations at this time.”

Further details “would get into student personal information and cannot be divulged,” Lowe said.

Calls to the family of the students allegedly involved were not immediately returned.
