Obituary For Ronnie Landers

Graveside service for Ronnie Landers, age 76 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 10:00A.M. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Greenview Cemetery with Garrett Landers, Mason Moseley, Danny Rubalcava, Jon Landers and Brittan Blount serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00P.M. Mr. Landers passed away on November 29, 2021 at his residence.

Ronnie was born on August 6, 1945 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Jack Barnett and Doris Jean (Mabe) Landers. He served in the United States Marine Corp where he was stationed in Vietnam. Ronnie retired from Andrews Transport. In his retirement he hotshot for several companies. He was the president and coach of the Hopkins County Baseball Association for many. Ronnie was a man of faith and a member of the Open Range Cowboys Church in Whitney, TX.

He is survived by his son Jon Wayne Landers and wife, Amy; daughter, Kristy Landers Moseley; grandchildren, Kennady Moseley, Garrett Landers, Mason Moesley and Morgan Landers; brothers, Jack Landers and Bob Landers and wife, Jeanette; sister, Brenda Mullen; numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jay Landers and best four-legged friend, Willie Estes Landers.
