On the morning of August 3, 2021, the cows at the Southwest Dairy Museum were getting a new paint job.

Hopkins County has a long history as Texas’s top dairy county.

The Southwest Dairy Museum opened its doors thirty years ago, in 1991.

“They symbolize the hard working dairy farmers that we are proud to represent,” said the Dairy Museum’s Diana Ramirez.
