Scattered showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage to the west again today and overspread parts of North and Central Texas through this afternoon. This activity will move east this evening with additional showers and storms developing late tonight off to the northwest. There is a low chance for severe weather mainly across our far southwest counties outlined in yellow. Large hail would be the main threat.

A slight chance of showers before 7am, then a slight chance of showers after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. East northeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms likely before 1am, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 1am and 3am, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 3am. Low around 54. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
