State Database Shows Zero COVID-19 Cases Among Residents of Hopkins County Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities

Texas Health and Human services has begun reporting COVID-19 cases at nursing homes and assisted living facilities. No residents of Hopkins County facilities have been reported as testing positive for the coronavirus.

There has only been one case reported among staff at these facilities. That case is currently listed as active.

Facilities are required to report COVID-19 testing data separately to local, state and federal health officials.

Data from the DSHS is two weeks behind for nursing homes and assisted living facilities while it’s current for state supported living centers.
