UIL Sets Dates for Fall Sports. SSHS Football Games Can Begin September 24th. Como-Pickton and Cumby Football Can Begin Games August 27th.

The UIL has released their guidelines for high school sports to begin their fall seasons.

5A and 6A schools, including Sulphur Springs, can begin football practice on September 7th and begin games on September 24th.

Conferences 1A-4A, including Como-Pickton and Cumby, can begin football practice on August 3rd and begin games on August 27th.

Volleyball for 5A and 6A can begin playing matches on September 14th.  Conferences 1A-4A can begin playing volleyball matches on August 10th.
