HCSO Arrests Commerce Man for Theft of Firearm

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 50 year old Commerce man on Tuesday morning for Theft of Firearm.

HCSO pulled over Todd Patrick Harrigan at 5:46 at the intersection of the I-30 north service road and FM 2563 for a defective tail light.

Harrigan denied the officer’s request to search the vehicle and the officer called for K9 assistance.

The K9 positively alerted on the vehicle and a firearm was located inside the vehicle with the serial numbers scratched off.

Harrigan was then taken into custody and transferred to Hopkins County Jail.
