Hopkins-Rains Retired School Personnel Hosting Candidate Forum at Sulphur Springs City Hall on October 9th

Hopkins-Rains Retired School Personnel will be hosting a candidate forum at Sulphur Springs City Hall on October 9th. You can meet the candidates begins at 5:30 and candidates will begin speaking at 6 p.m.  Candidates for Texas District 2 State Senator, Lieutenant Governor, and Texas District 2 Representative will attend.

Democrat candidates attending: Mike Collier, candidate for Lieutenant Governor, Kendall Scudder, candidate for District 2 Senator, and Bill Brannon, candidate for District 2 Representative. 

Republican candidates attending: District 2 Representative Republican Dan Flynn has committed to attend. District 2 Senator Bob Hall has not firmly committed to attend. He has said either he or a representative of his campaign will attend. Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has not committed to attend.
