Sulphur Bluff Baseball and Softball Teams Advance to Regional Semi-Finals

The Sulphur Bluff High School Baseball and Softball teams advanced to the Regional Semi-Finals over the weekend. The Lady Bears defeated #4 ranked Union Grove 12-2 and 14-2 in their regional quarterfinal matchup. The Lady Bears will move on to face #1 ranked Slocum. The schedule for the series has not yet been set.
The Bears baseball team beat Trinidad 12-6 and 4-1 in their matchup. They will move on to face Union Hill in the Regional Semi-Finals. They will play the series in Mt Vernon. Game 1 is Thursday at 6pm and Game 2 is 5:30 on Friday. If necessary, Game 3 will immediately follow Game 2.
