Como-Pickton FFA Members Win Awards at Skills USA District 5 Competition

This weekend Como-Pickton FFA members competed in the Skills USA District 5 competition at TSTC Waco.
All of these projects qualified for state:
Epoxy River Coffe Table – Tyler Osborne and Jesus Gonzalez
Patio Furniture Set – Sydnee Neal and Jackie Gomez
Belt Buckle Display Case – Chloe Romero
Pocket Knife Display Case – Jaeden Collins
Tyler Osborne and Jesus Gonzalez received Best of Show with their Epoxy River Coffee Table.
Chloe Romero placed 3rd in Prepared Public Speaking and Sydnee Neal for placed 1st advancing to the State Skills USA Contest.
Jeaden Collins for placed 3rd in Construction Tool ID and to Jesus Gonzalez and Tyler Osborne for placed 1st in Construction Material ID. All three will be advancing to the State Contest.
