From Coach Blake Hill, “Our kids fought hard against a really good Slidell team. Their effort was there. We had a really good first half. We had 3 starters get in foul trouble and our bench stepped up big time! We had 3 miscues in the final 3 possessions of the half that allowed Slidell to go in up 6. If there is one thing we can take away from this season, it is not to question our kids heart. They fought to get within 9 in the final 2 minutes but came up short. So much respect for Coach McCormick and his kids over at Slidell! What a good group of kids and coaching staff.”
