According to reports, two arrests have been made in connection to the vandalism of over 65 headstones at Weaver Cemetery over the weekend. Canyon Ray Davis(left), 17, has been charged with Criminal Mischief-Place of Worship and Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair. He confessed to the criminal mischief at Weaver Cemetery, Pickton-Pine Forest Church, and mailboxes. Bond has been set at $40,000 total for Davis.

Johnny Lyle Bench(right), 18, has been charged with Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair and is being held on $25,000 bond. He admitted to throwing a metal cross stolen from the cemetery into a pond. He also confessed to the vandalism of the cemetery.

We’d like to encourage everyone reading this story to remember that these are children and that we change lives through prayer, not condemnation.
