A new book is available at the Genealogy Library here in Sulphur Springs. The Collection of the Kenneth and Sidney Brice Early Histories of Hopkins County. Book contains 61 written histories of some amazing stories how Sulphur Springs became the great town. Histories begin around 1846 and continues up to 1894. Contains the birthplace of the city, the father of Sulphur Springs, hidden treasure, a rock that curred rabies, gold from California, town being swindled, State Fair of Texas started here, tornado of 1907, baseball legends, the early settlers, and so much more. If you love history or just love Sulphur Springs, you will love this new book. Cost is $30.00 and available at the Genealogy Library inside our public library building.
