CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital-Sulphur Springs took time to celebrate the discharge of a COVID-19 patient this week.

Hospital personnel and the patient’s family lined the walls and cheered on the patient as she was leaving the hospital. The patient had been hospitalized CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital-Sulphur Springs with COVID-19. You can watch the full video at the bottom of this post.
The patient said that she hopes anyone feeling COVID-19 symptoms seeks medical advice and she regretted waited to seek treatment. She also said that she feels blessed for the assistance of the nurses and doctors and the hospital staff.
CHRISTUS’ Holly Ragan told her, “We are so thankful that you are doing well and that we were able to provide the care here in Sulphur Springs for you. We are tremendously thankful that you have recovered.”
The patient’s excitement for going home was tempered since she will self-isolate and quarantine for 14 days after her discharge but she is happy to be recovered and headed home.

Hopkins County currently has no active confirmed cases of the coronavirus as all four confirmed COVID-19 patients in Hopkins County are now listed as recovered.
