The filing period for May 2nd’s Sulphur Springs City Council election ended Friday. Six spots on the council will be on the ballot but only two spots on the council will feature contested races.

Place 2: Harold Nash (uncontested.)
Place 3: Oscar Aguilar (uncontested.)
