Farmers has received reports of scammers posing as utility customer service representatives. The scammers will claim a member has an overdue bill and are in jeopardy of being disconnected, while demanding a payment using a credit card or pre-paid card. If a payment is made, scammers gain access to personal information.

If you have any doubts about who is calling you, tell the person you’d prefer to call back using Farmers’ phone number, 903-455-1715. Members can also check their accounts on SmartHub.
