Obituary for Josh Sanders
A Memorial Service for Joshua Wyatt Sanders, age 37, will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, Sulphur Springs, TX.
Joshua was born in Sulphur Springs on February 19, 1986 and passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024.
Josh was a proud graduate of the Class of 2004, Sulphur Springs High School. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Texas A&M Commerce. Josh was a neuro-monitor for MPower Health. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed video gaming with friends and being with his family and friends. Josh loved his faithful canine companion, Roll, for over 15 years.
Survivors include his parents, Norman and Kathy Sanders and his sister, Jessica Gamblin and husband Walt. Josh dearly loved his nephews Cash and Sam Gamblin and niece, Bella Raye Gamblin. Other survivors include aunts and uncles, Debbie Barrett, Diana and Steve Longino, Betty Julian and Linda Gallagher, as well as many special cousins. Josh was dearly loved by his family and friends.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Durene and Grady Wyatt, and Norman and Ettie Sanders; aunt, Janie Perkins, and uncles, Mike Barrett, Ray Julian, and Paul Nugent.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. A burial is planned at Elm Cemetery, Yantis.
Pallbearers include nephews, Cash and Sam Gamblin; cousins, Will and Travis Longino; David Myers, Scotty Reed, and Antwone Young. Honorary Pallbearers are Jarrett McCool, Chris Adams and Suhail Syed.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Charity.
