October is right around the corner and with the season comes fun frights in Hopkins County and surrounding areas. There are several haunted houses and trails that range from kid-friendly scares to high-level frights. 👻

Terror Trails located in Yantis, Texas opens Friday, October 6, 2023, and will be open every Friday and Saturday night in October, also including Halloween. Terror Trails offers a few attractions including the actual haunted trail and the Haunted house. Each attraction is sure to leave you looking over your shoulder.

For the thrill seekers, Thrillvania Haunted House Park located in Terrell, Texas is a unique experience offering three different themed haunted houses and over fifty haunted acres. Each house offers a different storyline: The World-Famous Haunted Verdun Manor, Cassandra’s House of Clowns, and Sam Hain’s Trail of Torment.🎃

In Canton, Texas, Yesterland Farms presents the annual Spooktacular Nights. They offer the “Scare O’ Meter” which has five levels of scariness. Level one is for all ages, to provide families with a haunted experience. While level five is the highest level of scares they provide scary characters and special effects. 🤡

From small thrills to big-time scares, Hopkins County offers all ranges of haunted entertainment for the month of October. Visiting these local haunted houses and trails is a great opportunity to enjoy local entertainment and an even better excuse to scare friends and family just in time for Halloween.
