FUMC-SS welcomes new Reverend in summer 2023

First United Methodist Church of Sulphur Springs welcomes Rev. Peter McNabb to the congregation. Rev. McNabb began the week of June 20, and had this to contribute about his summer sermon series:
 
“God is often about making all things new.  There are times in our lives when we need to start afresh. Perhaps this is such a time for you.
First United Methodist Church is kicking off the ministry of their new pastor, the Rev. Peter McNabb, with a back-to-the-basics sermon series entitled It’s All About God.”
 
July 2 — God the Father
July 9 — God the SonJuly 16 — God the Holy SpiritJuly 23 — God’s ChurchJuly 30 — God’s World
 
Worship times are 9 am for the Ignite service and 11 am for the Traditional Service.  On July 2, there will be one combined service at 11 am in the Sanctuary.  On July 30, there will be one combined service at 11 am in the Family Life Center with a lunch following in Fellowship Hall.  The church is located at 301 Church Street, just a block north of the square.  You may also watch online at www.ssfumc.org.
