Journey Road to hold third annual golf tournament

The third annual Journey Roads golf tournament is on Monday, June 26 at the Sulphur Springs country club. The tournament is a fundraiser for Journey Roads Ministries, which is a non-profit organization that provides resources and care for foster children and their families.

The ministry is located in Pickton, Texas where there are several homes on the property for foster families. The ministry also hosts hundreds of families for events in an environment that is focused on, “modeling a system of support that we believe fosters a healthy environment for hurting children,” according to their website.

The tournament check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. and Shotgun start at 8 a.m. Each four-man team scramble is $400 which will include lunch and two golf carts for the teams. To be a Hole Sponsor it is a $100 donation, and the sign will be placed at the hole of the sponsor’s choice.

Gold Sponsors are a $2,000 donation including team registration, hole sign, logo on the banner, social media, eight raffle tickets, eight mulligans, and radio acknowledgment. Silver Sponsors are a $1,000 donation and include team registration, hole sign, name on the banner, social media, four raffle tickets, and 4 mulligans. The Bronze Sponsors are a $500 donation that includes team registration, social media, and a hole sign.
