Signature Solar Sponsors Stew Festival So Kids Eat Free
Signature Solar’s Kenny Rogers and Tasha Watson approached the Chamber of Commerce with the idea of sponsoring the Stew Festival this year for kids to eat free!
Rogers is the Senior Director of People, Culture, & Communication, and Watson is the Manager of Learning & Development.
“Solar is for everyone so the event should be for everyone– even the kids,” Rogers said.
“Some kids have to stay home for this event because the parents can’t afford to pay for their stew,” he added. “We want all kids 12 and under to eat free to be able to help.”
Parents will still need to pick up a ticket for the kid(s) or select the number of kids attending when purchasing online. The kids’ bowls will be labeled with Signature Solar’s logo and be distributed at the normal service tents.
This selfless act will help the community in many ways. It will also help make the Stew Contest inclusive for all ages! The entire community, thanks Signature Solar for their generous offer.
