Como-Pickton Graduation
Como-Pickton CISD held their high school graduation Friday. The ceremony featured the invocation given by Clain Thomas. Salutatorian Michelle Mejia and Valedictorian Mattison Buster addressed the graduates and families.
Como-Pickton also had their Rose Ceremony, where graduating seniors present a rose to those people who made a difference during their lives. They also paid tribute to all Veterans in the audience, including Coach Joe Garcia, who is in Active Air Force Reserve.
The ceremony ended with all seniors standing, facing the audience and sining the Alma Mater one last time.
