Como-Pickton elementary teacher Sarah Vanginault receives prestigious grant

During a recent meeting of the Hopkins-Rains Retired School Personnel, Sarah Vanginault received a $750 classroom grant from the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation.

Sarah will be using her grant for science and STEM lab supplies for her third grade classroom.  She currently teaches third grade at Como-Pickton CPISD.

HRRSP President Judy Jones presented the grant saying, “Only 30 classroom grants were awarded state-wide, and we are especially excited to have one awarded to one of our local teachers.”
