Sulphur Springs To Host Tournament of Champions
Next weekend Sulphur Springs will be the host site for KS Tournaments Championship of Champions Softball Tournament. The Tournament will run from May 19-21 and will see a number of fun events, outside of high-level softball.
KS Tournaments announced earlier this week, that performing artist Don Woods Jr will be performing at their Championship of Champions tournament. The concert will be at the Coleman Park Softball Fields Friday May 19 at 8 p.m.
Woods Jr is a recording artist with Universal Records and is an East Texas native, originally from Yantis. “Don is a home-grown Texas country music singer who writes and performs his own music. We are excited to have him coming back to East Texas to perform for his fans,” the KS Tournaments press release said.
KS Tournaments is a baseball and softball tournament company based out of Tyler. They host tournaments all over the East Texas Area.
The Championship of Champions Tournament is a three-day event, starting Friday, May 19 and ending Sunday, May 21. Opening ceremonies for the tournament will start 6 p.m. Friday Night.
Friday night will see several contests, including a home run derby, fastest team and around the horn contests. The concert will follow those events.
KS Tournaments invites everyone to come out and enjoy a great night of fun and music. Entry into the concert is $5 and can be paid at the gate.
