Airplanes and Coffee is an aviation group that was formed a couple of years ago and has grown into a massive group with almost 160,000 members listed on their Facebook page.  They are based in the Dallas area and they hold monthly fly-ins at various airports, mostly in northeast Texas.  I think they have held two events in Sulphur Springs and the next one is scheduled for Saturday, March 4.  Planes will be coming in from all over Texas, Oklahoma and Lousianna to drink coffee, eat donuts (have breakfast and or lunch at the Red Barn) and socialize with like-minded people.

Airplanes and Coffee is changing its format.  They move the fly-in around to a different airport each month but they have now decided to pick twelve airports and have their events annually at these airports.  They are working with Joey Baker and trying to decide the best month of the year to hold the event in Sulphur Springs but it will become an annual event after this year.  Sulphur Springs is their favorite destination!
