GOOD NEWS FOR TODAY

God is in the business of

making

and we need to be in the business of

praising

Him!

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image according to Our likeness;….Genesis 1:26

This should be our response from Psalm 149:14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works and that my soul knows very well.Psalm 139:15 “My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.”

In Genesis1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image according to Our likeness…”
And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Philippians 2:7 tells us Christ Jesus emptied Himself taking the form of a bond servant and being made in the likeness of men.
So we were made in God’s likeness and Christ Jesus was made in our likeness.
But why?
II Corinthians 5:21 lets us know why. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
So we can praise Him because
II Corinthians 5:15 says: and He died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died and rose again on their behalf.

And we can praise Him because we are not only a created man but we can be a new creation.
II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold new things have come.

And we do praise Him!
Titus 3:7 that being justified by His grace we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

“Hallelujah!”
