Wildcats resume action with road match

The Sulphur Springs Wildcats are back in action tonight, after getting a bye Tuesday. With a 1-3 record through their first four district games, the Wildcats will be looking to pick up their second win with a road match against Hallsville.
Hallsville is off to a strong start this season, going 12-5-2 in their first 17 games, include 4-1 in district play. The Bobcats are especially hot of late, winning their last three district games by a combined score of 23-1.

Sulphur Springs has seen improvement in their recent games, after losing their first two district games by a combined score of 18-7. The Wildcats picked up their first district win March 22, beating Marshall 5-4 on the road.
Despite following their win with a 3-1 loss to Pine Tree, The Wildcats will be looking to pick up their second win in their last three games. A win over Hallsville could also help Sulphur Springs’ district standing, as they currently trail fourth seed Pine Tree by one game.
