Funeral services for Tyler “Kehl” Chester, age 27, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2022, at West Oaks Funeral Home with Robert Newsome officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Ryan Chester, Kody Chester, Brandon Fowler, Blake Chester, Dylan Chester, Brian Floyd, Soa Moimoi, Alex Buchanan, Cody Box, Mason Scott, Eddie Perez, Caden Perez, Koby Perez, Ayden Chester, Bryson Reyes, Adrien Reyes, Mika Chester, Cody Tully, Landon Overly, and Conner West serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Kehl passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. He was born on January 4, 1995, in Sulphur Springs, the son of Jeff Chester and Karla Bailey Chester. He worked as an operator for Lonestar Drilling for several years. He loved to read, listen to music, and was a master rapper. He loved fishing with his nieces and nephews and having bonfires with his family.

He is survived by his parents, brothers, Ryan Chester (Sunni) of Sulphur Springs, Kody Chester (Pauliane) of Sulphur Springs, sisters, Kayleen Perez (Eddie) of Sulphur Springs, Jessica Chester (Soa) of Sulphur Springs, nieces and nephews, Caden Perez, Koby Perez, Harley Perez, Ayden Chester, Bryson Reyes, Adrien Reyes, Mika Chester, Cisco Chester, Ayvree Chester, Audree Chester, Naialeigha Moimoi, Isaac Moimoi, bonus nephew, Conner West, grandparents, Jimmy and Barbara Bailey, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
