Memorial service for David “Rooster” Ennis, age 61 of Sulphur Springs, TX, will be held at 12:00P.M. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Jerry Clements officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Ennis passed away on March 8, 2022 at his residence.

David was born on December 4, 1960 in Brenham, TX to Jessie Lynn and Joyce Faye (Votaw) Ennis. He married Roxanne Joslin on February 20, 2005 in Sulphur Springs, TX. David worked as a truck driver and a pilot car driver. He was a man of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife, Roxanne; daughters, Tasha Jurek and husband, Donald and Renaye Hathcoa; son, Luke Hathcoat; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Jonathan Ennis and Daniel Ennis; sisters, Linda McCracker and Rebecca Rampa; numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Brandon Jurek.
