Two children killed in fire on Moore, Sulphur Springs Fire Department says

UPDATE 1/21 at 11:38 a.m.- The two victims of the tragic fire have now been identified as Heaven Lee (3 years old) and Hayden Lee (1 year old). “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time,” said the Sulphur Springs Fire Department.

1/20 at 2:11 p.m.- Two children were killed in a fire early this morning on South Moore Street, according to a release from the Sulphur Springs Fire Department.

At approximately 3:52 a.m. on January 20, SSFD responded to a residence on South Moore to find it fully engulfed, according to a report.

The fire department later learned that two small children were unable to escape the fire and are deceased, the report said.

The investigation into the fire is ongoing, according to SSFD chief David James. No more information is available at this time.
